RIP OFF DRINKS
Right, I have been waiting to say this for a long time! I try to help the local wine economy by drinking large amounts of it, someone has to do it, its cheap, its not to bad, so I do not mind doing my bit. I also like a tipple (or three) of Southern Comfort, but I now have to pro-*test*-('") at the rip of price. I am well versed with the running of bars, in the UK where shorts are just that, you get 22 measures out of a bottle, and it is a nice little earner! Out here the measures are larger, some bars more than others, a bar owner gets at least 10 measures of Southern out of a bottle, this relates to 50 euros at 5 euros a glass, a bottle only costs 13 euros to buy! meaning when I have 3 shots at the end of the evening I have bought the bloody bottle, put 2 euros in their pocket, and left them the rest to make a gross proffit of 37 euros, BARSTEWARDS! There, I feel much better now! erm, I will get my coat and go.
