Land Registry- Who needs to register?
There is speculation at the moment regarding the new land registry and if you need to worry about it. For those not in the know the background is this, basically up until now there has not been one! The EU granted Greece several years ago 140 million euros to build a land registry. Due to a lot of feet dragging and inefficiency on the part of the Greek government in 2001 they had to give 100 million back! :shock: This means if you need to register your land and property you have to pay for it!
