Of course Hugh! By the way folks, yesterday saw our local Lib Dem representative in our street. (Ha Ha! a cul de sac so no escape with me in the road!) She was here to discuss any concerns we may have according to the A4 flier through the door last Wednesday evening. :twisted: Yet was not about to answer my concerns about M.P's expenses. Nor did she wish to discuss who paid for the A4 flier in the first place, did she pay for it out her own pocket or was it produced at Council tax payers expense in the local council office (as I suspected it was) by one of her minions? So it seems she also did not want to discuss, nor did she agree it was a misappropriation of council property. Also she would not comment on how many trees had to die to produce the A4 flier which did not contain enough print to fill an A5 sheet. She was here (she said) to discuss the local plans for the extension of the housing estate and the placing of a new waste collection site next to this estate. Not what the flier said, it mentioned those two plans yes, but it also said any concerns we many have, and it contained three spelling misteakes (oops) I suggested she used a spell chequer. So what did I think of the proposed plans for a waste site next to the estate? :twisted: :twisted: As the local representative for the Land Gulls and Foxy Woxies I was all for it. I mean all those poor furry woodland creatures she helped ban the hunting of, will now have somewhere to go and eat! The local Land Gull and Crow populations will explode upwards. Ratty and his gang already having problems feeding his expanded family thanks to fornightly bin collections will positively welcome the waste site. Plus when the time came for them all to shuffle off this mortal coil they will all die well fed in their beds surrounded by their loving families. What could be better? And what did she think of a law that says I can poison Ratty so he dies in agony with thirst and stomach cramps but cannot blow his head clean off with a shotgun? She could be proud of that, helping wildlife! AND if she ever got into government (nooo chance!) she could point to those facts and say she achieved that! Don't know who was the bigger Victor, her or me! By this time she was looking for an "OUT" So if I would like to fill in the back of the A4 flier, her office would be happy to address my concerns! Happy??????? :shock: Oh dear, I can't........ I recycled it, 2 minutes after it came through the door! :oops: TDC 8)
