Anyone heard a cicada yet?
Small point but has anyone here heard a cicada yet? Went to the top of Dinati mountain yesterday, it is a good road (but not tarmac) all the way up to the top where the new wind farm is being built! Fabulous views. Bit Breezy! Makes a change taking a picture looking down onto the tops of clouds! I will put up a picture later once I have downloaded them off the camera. TDC 8)

We heard one a few days ago in our grapevine but it has gone quiet since then! We usually don't hear them until mid to late June. Anyone seen a good displays of fireflies here this year? Friends have been to Parga and Corfu and say the displays this year were brilliant. We have managed to see maybe thirty or so here but nothing like the displays we have seen in Corfu.

Anyone seen a good displays of fireflies here this year? A group of tree hugging, unwashed, dole claiming Brits have arrived, formed a minority party and banned the fireflies, claiming they caused last years fires!
